Couples preparing to marry will tell you that they love each other and that they expect their marriage to go the distance. But sooner or later, every couple will learn that this emotional state of being “in love” is not, by itself, enough to build a lasting and mutually satisfying relationship.

When You Plan to Say "I Do" is Calvary’s marriage preparation workshop designed for couples who are engaged or in their first year of marriage. It is an opportunity for couples to learn more about themselves, what they want for their marriage and how they can make it happen. It is a practical class that teaches communication skills, conflict resolution and how to maintain spiritual, physical and emotional intimacy 10 and 20 years after the wedding.
